The 2014 Polo Season is just around the corner. Pre-season polo games begin on Thanksgiving Weekend. Opening Day is Sunday, January 5th, 2014.

VIP Cabanas and tables are sold out for the season. There are plenty of daily VIP seating areas that can be reserved or purchased by the day to accommodate our Social Members and Sunday Polo spectators.

Our stabling facilities are just about full. If you have not yet reserved your stalls for the season, please contact Vicky Owens at 760-342-7755 or email vickyowens@empirepolo.com

Empire Polo will be unveiling a new Sunday Polo menu on Opening Day. More details to come about the new menu and other improvements in our next newsletter.

Pre-Season Polo Tournaments

The first tournament of the pre-season is the Thanksgiving Weekend Arena Tournament on Nov. 29th-30th. If you would like to play in this tournament, please contact Vicky Owens 760-342-7755 or email: vickyowens@empirepolo.com.

Polo Field Update

The field conditions at Empire Polo Club are expected to be excellent this coming season. All 12 fields and grass areas have been aerated, aggregated, sanded, fertilized with organic mulch and over seeded with Rye. There is a generous bermuda base under the rye and the results are fantastic. The grass is growing in nicely. More sand will be added before the season starts.

Los Angeles Polo Training Center and Polo School Opens in December at Empire Polo Club

Private and group lessons will be scheduled weekly from December through the end of March. First time students can take advantage of the 2 for 1 lesson special offered by the Los Angeles Polo School at Empire Polo Club. The Polo School provides the horse and equipment for beginners. Horses are also available for lease by the chukker for the Coaching League. Click here to learn more about the new polo school and sign up for the 2 for 1 Lesson Special.

2014 Season Schedule

Opening Day & Hat Day is Sunday, January 5th, 2014. Be sure and save the date! The featured polo matches will be held at 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM every Sunday through March 30th. We will be closed on Sunday, March 2nd.

Friday night "Polo Under The Lights" games will be featured on the second Friday of each month. The dates for the 2014 Polo Under The Lights are: Jan. 10th, 2014, Feb. 14th, 2014 and March 14th, 2014. The game time for Friday night games is 5:30 PM.
